April 16-17 2011 Commemorative Event, Join Us!

April 16 and 17, 2011 will mark the fifth year Appleseed will celebrate Patriot’s Day (April 19), the battles of Lexington and Concord, the shot heard round the world, and the heritage that follows and leads Americans young and old, to this very day.

Come join us as we commemorate these events with our own take on this historic shot.  Saturday, April 16 at 4pm Eastern, 3pm Central, 2pm Mountain, and 1pm Pacific, Appleseed Instructors at over 100 events across the country will read the names of those killed at Lexington the morning of April 19th, 1775 and salute them with a volley of fire unprecedented in the history of the world.

That is no exaggeration.  With a combined total of over 2,500 shooters on civilian firing lines across the United States, we will constitute the longest known simultaneous single-purpose firing line in history.  If it were possible to get official observers to each of these events, we would be able to claim this as a record.

Don’t you want to be a part of this?  Don’t you need to be a part of this?

Appleseed – saving a country, one Rifleman at a time.
